CODECH, the Coordinadora de Organizaciones de Desarrollo de Concepción Huista, has over 10 years of experience in specialty coffee production. It was founded to promote development programs within the community, with one of its main goals being the integration of women into society and the workforce.

Through ecological farming practices, CODECH protects soil and water resources while reducing dependence on fertilizer companies. It is an organization of organic specialty coffee producers based in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. This particular coffee lot is entirely produced by women who own and manage their own farms.
