The Nano Challa Cooperative is part of the Kata Mumudga Cooperative Union. Formed by small producers with farms of maximum 3 hectares in areas of dense forest where they have coffee with other crops (polyculture). The coffee plants come from the forest coffees planted years ago by the grandparents of the current producers.
It is a high-scoring organic speciality coffee, grown under the shade of forests and with social impact.
Process: Washed
Sweet profile. Complex in aromas with notes of flower, honey, orange with a base of caramel, vanilla and walnut, honeyed acidity.
Varieties: Heirloom.
Altitude: 1.850- 2.100m
Ethiopia is the birthplace of all Arabica coffees in the world, so the genetic diversity of Ethiopian coffees is greater than that of any other country.
Coffee beans, not ground and ground
Roast: Soft roast, according to Specialty Coffee standards.
Recommended preparations: Filter and French Press. It also suits well for Espresso and Italian.
